About Brown County

Brown County High School, home of the Hornets, is a public high school located in Mt. Sterling, Illinois. Brown County High School is part of the Brown County School District and has approximately 190 students and 8 varsity sports. Brown County High School’s mission is to develop a well-rounded student who is eager to learn, self-confident, and a productive member of society.
